This page serves as a collective set of guidelines about how this site works, basically what will cause me to remove your comment for any of you out there that care. To be covered here will be general disclaimers, comment thread rules, and copyrights. Are you kicking back chilling? Good. The ride begins.
Disclaimers
Everything on this site is MY opinion as the person who is living as a Second Life® avatar with the name “Alexzandria Aeon,” hereinafter referred to as “me,” and mine alone. (The exception being the comments posted by you valued readers, which are obviously the sole opinion of the posters thereof.)
I may be highly insightful; I may be misinformed; I may be a complete bitch. Any resemblance to any other opinions out there is completely coincidental. I’m just telling you what I think.
This site is operated by me solely for my own purposes. Telling me how I should run it is a good way to get me to tell you where you should stick your fucking opinions, after you’ve folded them till they’re all sharp corners. You may think me a complete bitch for doing so but hey it’s my opinion and MY blog so that makes me entitled. 
Comment Thread Rules
Comments on posts on this site are allowed at my discretion, and my discretion only. This is not a democracy. The First Amendment applies to the government, not to me. I operate on a different principle, which may be summed up as follows: “There may be free speech, but there is no free lunch. You want to make a speech, get your own blog; I run this one.” I reserve the right at all times to delete any comment if I choose to.
That said, I tend to be fairly tolerant of bullshit in the comments; I find that most people are capable of voicing at least some opinions that are reasonably coherent–and even if not, their incoherent sputterings may at least have me laughing my ass off. But here’s the kind of shit that will cause me to draw a line:
- Comment spam. Fortunately, WordPress has a nice filter (Akismet) that blocks most of that shit for me.
- Gratuitous personal attacks on other people above and beyond the subject at hand. (Not attacks against me; bring it! I’m here, I love being a bitch and can answer those attacks if I wish. Other people may not be, though.)
- Physical threats. Don’t start none won’t be none. Enough said.
- Stuff that’s completely unrelated to the topic at hand. Random ramblings are allowed by one person ME. Go make your own blog if you want to babble.
I reserve the right to change or modify any of these guidelines, at any time, if I see fit to do so. Which I can do, because, once again, I run this site, not you.
I will say, however, that if you put an actual name on your comments, and, particularly, if you happen to be someone I know personally and/or by reputation, I’m more likely to cut you some slack than I would be for some random jagoff that just wandered in off the Internet.
Basically: don’t be a dickhead and I won’t be a bitch. Remember that, and we’ll probably get along just fine.
